I was out shooting a few weeks ago and came across a small cemetery. These flowers in particular caught my eye:

This is gorgeous and haunting! I have a really tiny, 200 yr old cemetery tucked away in the woods near my summer home, and I've always wanted to photograph it. I'm not sure why but I always chicken out! I've gone there a million times, it's so...still, and perfect and chilling all at once. Maybe this is the push I needed to go and conquer my fear of this cemetery and realize that it's just another way for these people to be remembered. I think I'd hate to be forgotten....
