Palm Flare
Taken on my last day in paradise, I wanted to remember the warm sunlight, ocean breeze and palm trees on the beach. I angled my shot in such a way that I could see flare though the viewfinder, clicked, and hoped it would come through. It did.

Yes, you succeeded. A great feel.
ReplyDeleteDid you do anything in color? When I went to Bermuda a few years ago it was the colors that blew me away. I like this for what it is but...
ReplyDeleteThank you HereBeDragons!
ReplyDeleteDave - I'm not sure how to take that, but yes, I did shoot a little bit of colour. Unfortunately my lab's E6 machine is down so I have no idea when I will actually get the photos back.
An excellent shot, intimidate the storm, the picture is very good.
ReplyDeleteI've been following your blog for maybe a year now and I just wanted to say I love it! The interviews are phenomenal and your photos are amazing, especially your self-portraits.
ReplyDeleteI just got my first Holga on Sunday and shot my first roll today...we'll see how that turns out. Anyway, the Holga Darkroom played a big part in turning me on to toy camera culture. Keep it up!
Thank you very much for your comments - always nice to hear :) Good luck with your new Holga! Let me know how it goes (if you're on Flickr shoot me a message)
